Mad Steintist Closes Over Weekend, Goes 'Out With A Bang'
The bar closed after two years under the COVID-19 pandemic and a construction project in the front of the building, the owners said.

WAUKESHA, WI — A bar and music venue in Waukesha's downtown area closed over the weekend, owners announced over social media.
Mad Steintist, 200 Madison St., played its last show on Saturday, owners said in a Facebook post. "This will be our final weekend at Mad Steintist and we are going out with a bang with two great shows," the owners added.
Two years of the COVID-19 pandemic and a construction project in front of the building were the driving forces behind the bar's closure, the owners said.
