1. Waukesha County Courthouse shooting threat; teen charged after lockdown (fox6now.com) — Waukesha County’s courthouse and justice center were locked down after a 17-year-old Milwaukee resident allegedly phoned in shooting threats and played fake gunfire sounds, triggering a major tactical response. Deputies closed nearby streets, secured the sheriff’s department and jail, and later arrested the teen, who now faces felony terrorist threat and bail-jumping charges and has been ordered to undergo a competency exam.
   

2. Judge dismisses suit against Arrowhead School District (gmtoday.com) — A Waukesha County judge has dismissed a citizens group’s lawsuit challenging Arrowhead Union High School District’s handling of a failed $136.2 million referendum, though a narrow maintenance-spending claim may be refiled by February. The case, brought in part by a former Waukesha Town chairman, questioned the district’s referendum messaging, use of public funds, and contracting practices but was rejected on all current counts.
   

3. United Way Secures $5M Grant for Homelessness Aid (gmtoday.com) — A major new $5 million grant will help United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County expand homelessness prevention and housing support across Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties. Over five years, the funding will bolster rental assistance, housing navigation, and support services aimed at ensuring local children and families aren’t sleeping outside. Local partners say housing remains the region’s most urgent need.
   

4. Waukesha County deputies search for missing 28-year-old man after car found abandoned at park (tmj4.com) — Waukesha County deputies are searching for 28-year-old Allen J. Roller after his car was found abandoned at Nashotah County Park, and his family reported him missing. Authorities say foul play is not suspected but haven’t been able to reach him. Anyone with information is urged to call the sheriff’s department at 262-446-5070.
