• Waukesha police blotter: Dec. 29-30, 2025 (gmtoday.com) — Recent police calls in Waukesha included a rear-end crash with a plow truck, a reported gun theft from a Golden Corral restroom, and welfare concerns involving people in the roadway or sheltering in public spaces. Officers also checked on suspicious vehicles, an intoxicated woman downtown, and a suspected impaired driver taken into custody. 
• Report: White Sox sign former top OF prospect Jarred Kelenic to non-roster invite deal (wgntv.com) — A fellow Waukesha native, outfielder Jarred Kelenic, has reportedly landed a non-roster invite deal with the Chicago White Sox, giving him another shot to revive his once-elite prospect status. The 26-year-old, drafted sixth overall in 2018 and now a MLB journeyman, will try to turn his flashes of power into a steadier big-league role.
