• Waukesha neighbors learn flooding fix could take up to 5 years, after city figured out the cause (tmj4.com) — Neighbors on Waukesha’s Hunter Road are being told it could take up to five years to fix chronic street flooding, even though the city has pinpointed undersized storm sewers as the cause. City officials say the project must compete with other flood-mitigation needs, while residents plan to press the Common Council and finance committee for faster action and funding.
   

• Brookfield I-94 shooting; Milwaukee woman pleads no contest, sentenced (fox6now.com) — A Milwaukee woman has been sentenced in Waukesha County to three years in prison and four years of extended supervision for firing a gun at another vehicle on I-94 in Brookfield. Local prosecutors and the judge emphasized zero tolerance for road-rage gunfire, while the defendant apologized and said she wishes she had handled her emotions differently.
   

• Wisconsin Teen Who Plotted Trump Assassination Pleads Guilty to Killing His Parents (wabcradio.com) — Waukesha residents should know that an 18-year-old has pleaded guilty in Waukesha County Circuit Court to killing his parents in their Waukesha home. Prosecutors say he stole money and valuables and later faced federal scrutiny over an alleged plot involving Donald Trump, with sentencing set for March 5 and potential life imprisonment.
