Police Report: Burglary; Driving Drunk in Old Squad Car; 'Squawking' at Kids

• A theft of items from a vehicle was reported at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
• A theft of scrap metal was reported at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East St. Paul Avenue.
• An 11-year-old boy was reportedly hitting and shoving his bother at 3:14 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of West Broadway.
• An elderly woman reported at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday that kids in the 400 block of North Hine Avenue were racing in a vehicle and filming themselves while they were racing. The woman also believed the kids were messing with her phone line.
• A theft of a CD player, headphones and several CDs was reported at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Madison Street.
• A juvenile was reportedly “squawking” at other children at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.
• Arrests were made after a burglary was reported at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue.
• A person was arrested on a warrant at 5:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Pewaukee Road.
• A person driving a former Wisconsin State Patrol vehicle was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after he was seen staggering after exiting the vehicle in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday.
