Waukesha Man Fled Police At 100 MPH, Had Fentanyl: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — Authorities in Waukesha say a 20-year-old Waukesha resident has been arrested and may face charges after fleeing police at more than 100 miles per hour.

According to Waukesha police, an officer on patrol at just after midnight on Sept. 16 in the area of I-94 and Meadowbrook Road saw a driver run a red light.

Police said the driver fled onto I-94 and sped up to more than 100 miles per hour. Police said officers pursued the vehicle, which eventually came to a stop during the course of a traffic stop.

Authorities say the driver, a 20-year-old Waukesha man, was arrested for fleeing officers, driving while intoxicated and possession of fentanyl.
