Waukesha Man Stunned By Police After Fight: Police

The person who called police said one person challenged another to pull a gun during the course of the fight.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say a 36-year-old Waukesha man has been arrested after a report of a fight.

According to Waukesha police call logs, officers responded to an apartment on the 800 block of John Street at just before midnight on Nov. 8 on a report of a fight.

Police call logs stated that two men and a woman were involved in the altercation. The person who called police said one person challenged another to pull a gun during the course of the fight, before fleeing in a van.

Waukesha Police said officers stopped the van just down the street. A 36-year-old Waukesha man reportedly refused to get out of the van, and kept reaching further into the van for something.

According to police, an officer used a taser on the man in order to subdue him. When police searched the man's van, they did not find a gun.

Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, driving with a revoked license, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
