Waukesha Police Investigating 3 Package Thefts: Report

Police say the thefts happened on E. Racine Ave. and W. Roberta Ave.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say they are investigating a recent rash of package thefts after three cases were reported in the city.

According to Waukesha police, in all three cases, two suspects removed packages from the front porch areas of the homes.

Police said they were called to a home on the 1100 block of E. Racine Ave. at just before 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 on a report of a stolen package. Call logs stated that the home owner was able to provide a description of the suspect who walked up to the porch and stole the package.

According to police, a resident on the 900 block of E. Racine Ave. called police on the evening of Oct. 29 to report the theft of two packages from their front porch.

In the third case, police were called to a home on the 300 block of W. Roberta Ave. at just after 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 30 on a report of a suspicious person.

According to police call logs, a woman told police she saw the suspects from the previous package thefts, and provided a description of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving.
