Waukesha Sub Shop Left Unattended, Police Say

WAUKESHA, WI—A Subway was left unattended on Wednesday night. Waukesha Police were called to Subway, 821 Meadowbrook Rd., after a customer entered the restaurant and noticed there were no employees inside, according to the police log.

The man checked out back and there was no one in sight. Police secured the back door and turned off the lights and ovens. The log said police tried to call someone affiliated with the restaurant with no success.

The log doesn't indicate if the reason for the empty store was discovered.
