• From Processing To Beekeeping: $10K Awarded To Ag Literacy (midwestfarmreport.com) — Waupaca High School is among Wisconsin schools receiving part of a $10,000 Agriculture in the Classroom grant to boost hands-on agricultural literacy projects. The funding will help local students connect farming, food, and environmental concepts with core subjects while building career-readiness skills, alongside similar initiatives in districts across the state.
   

• Trial scheduled for ex-prosecutor accused of threatening judge (fox11online.com) — Waupaca residents should know that a former Waupaca County assistant district attorney is set for a two-day trial starting Feb. 10 on charges he threatened a local judge. Court records say the case stems from text messages sent after a contentious 2024 hearing, and the complaint notes Waupaca County has three judges, though it does not name which was allegedly targeted.
