📰 News we're reading

1. Council briefed about baby drop boxes (waupacanow.com) — Waupaca’s City Council is weighing whether to allow a Safe Haven baby box in town, after hearing an informational presentation on how the program works and what it would cost. Supporters say a box at a local public safety building could provide a safe, anonymous option for surrendering newborns. City leaders plan more research before possibly voting in January.
