Milwaukee, Others Extend Curfew Into Monday
Kenosha declared a state of emergency Sunday night. Several other communities responded to local unrest by establishing curfews.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Several Wisconsin communities have extended curfews through Monday morning after a weekend of George Floyd-related protests resulted in some groups participating in fires, property damage and looting in several areas.
As of Sunday evening, several communities including Milwaukee, Madison, Wauwatosa, Kenosha, Glendale all established curfews that extended into Monday.
Kenosha

The city and county of Kenosha enacted an 8:30 p.m. emergency curfew Sunday night as demonstrators rallied in Kenosha. "For the public's safety, please comply with the order and remain home. If you are not at home please go home," Kenosha police wrote in their bulletin Sunday afternoon.
Wauwatosa

Authorities issued a citywide curfew in Wauwatosa that runs through 7 a.m. Monday.
"For the safety of our community, we ask for cooperation and compliance from all," Kenosha police wrote this weekend.
Milwaukee
Milwaukee extended its curfew order into Monday morning after demonstrations protesting the death of Floyd in Minneapolis and Joel Acevedo in Milwaukee took place throughout Milwaukee.
"In order to keep our city safe, we are requesting voluntary compliance from all of our residents and protestors. If found in violation of this curfew, individuals will be arrested and fined $691," Milwaukee police wrote over the weekend.
Glendale
Authorities in Glendale also established a curfew on Saturday, and extended it until 8 a.m. June 1. Glendale officials said all businesses that are open to the public should remain closed during the curfew timeframe.
