• Wauwatosa house fire: 1 person taken to hospital, pet found dead (fox6now.com) — A Wauwatosa home near 96th and Hope suffered a major fire Thursday morning, sending one resident to the hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation and killing a pet. Fire crews from Wauwatosa, Milwaukee and West Allis knocked down the blaze in just over 20 minutes, but the house and many belongings were heavily damaged while investigators work to determine the cause.
