Tosa Wine And Spirits Could Replace Appliance Store

WAUWATOSA, WI—The Wauwatosa Plan Commission will consider the proposal for a liquor store that could replace an appliance store during its meeting on Oct. 11. Tosa Wine and Spirits is currently located at 11728 W North Ave. but wants to relocate to 11500 W. North Ave. where Grand Appliance is located.

Patch spoke with Bryan Komas, the Grand Appliance store manager, who said the business is moving out of its current location in December to the Mayfair Collection located at 11500 W Burleigh St.

“We are moving to a new state of the art showroom that will definitely be bigger and better,” Komas said.

If approved, the liquor store could open in the new location during the first week of March.

“No change in the business model [for Tosa Wine] besides bigger space,” according to online city documents.
