Wauwatosa School Temporary Lockdown Due To Threat: Police

A parent alerted the school that a man in her car was threatening her and had access to a weapon.

WAUWATOSA, WI—Underwood Elementary School, 11132 W. Potter Road in Wauwatosa, was locked down Wednesday morning after a parent was threatened by a man in her car, according to Wauwatosa police. Officers were called to the school at 8:19 a.m. for a report of disorderly conduct.

A parent, while dropping off her child, alerted staff that a man in her car was threatening her and had access to a weapon, police said.

Staff at Underwood Elementary put the building into lockdown and contacted the police department. The man was arrested and lockdown was lifted at 8:50 a.m.

Police told Patch the two people knew each other and the incident began in the City of Milwaukee.
