Wauwatosa School Utility Work Will Prompt Road Closure
The work will occur overnight starting on Dec. 18 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. and could last three nights.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Utility work at a local elementary school will result in a lane closure in Wauwatosa later this week.
According to Wauwatosa city officials, the west side of Wauwatosa Ave. between Milwaukee Ave. and Warren Ave. will be closed in order to make utility connections at Lincoln Elementary School.
The work will occur overnight starting on Dec. 18 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., and could last three nights.

Traffic control such as a flagger or one lane of traffic may vary from night to night, city officials said. However, traffic will be able to drive north and south on Wauwatosa Ave. Traffic will be able to turn onto adjacent streets as well.
Wauwatosa officials say there may be some work during the daytime hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The contractor would have flaggers for traffic control.
