Casper Weather: 60 MPH Winds, Snow, Bone-Chilling Temperatures
A high-wind warning and hazardous weather outlook was issued Monday for the Casper area.

CASPER, WY — A high-wind warning and hazardous weather outlook was issued Monday for the Casper area with winds of up to 60 mph possible this week along with light snow and bone-chilling temperatures.
The National Weather Service said it will be "very windy" across much of central and northwest Wyoming. A high-wind warning remains in effect until 5 p.m. Monday as winds could reach 25 to 35 mph and gusts topping 60 mph possible in some areas such as on Outer Drive to Hat Six Road on Casper's south side.
Strong winds could creat dangerous travel conditions. Sudden strong wind gusts will increase the risk that lightweight and high-profile vehicles could blow over.

"This includes Interstate 25, and other highways in Natrona County," the weather service said.
