Here are the top three stories today in Casper:

1. Casper residents will be meeting later this morning, Jul. 8, for a clean-up at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. According to one local resident, the cemetery's owners are struggling to manage its upkeep, including unwatered lawns and unkempt gravesites. Volunteers will meet for clean-up efforts between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and will end at 11:00 a.m. For more information, contact Dennis Arner on Facebook. (Oil City News)
2. The Natrona County Library and Central Wyoming Hospice are partnering to host a Death Café. This event will take place on Saturday, Jul. 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the library and is an opportunity for open and candid discussions about death. This event is not grief counseling, but it will be a supportive environment to discuss fears, curiosities, and thoughts about dying. (Oil City News)
3. A Casper man was injured on Wednesday, Jul. 5 after attempting to make homemade fireworks. First responders received multiple calls about an explosion and house fire in the Paradise Valley Neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered the man with severe burns and other non-life-threatening injuries. Officers say the man used legally-acquired chemicals to try to make fireworks at home.
