- Casper residents will be meeting later this morning, Jul. 8, for a clean-up at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. According to one local resident, the cemetery's owners are struggling to manage its upkeep, including unwatered lawns and unkempt gravesites. Volunteers will meet for clean-up efforts between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and will end at 11:00 a.m. For more information, contact Dennis Arner on Facebook. (Oil City News)
- The Natrona County Library and Central Wyoming Hospice are partnering to host a Death Café. This event will take place on Saturday, Jul. 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the library and is an opportunity for open and candid discussions about death. This event is not grief counseling, but it will be a supportive environment to discuss fears, curiosities, and thoughts about dying. (Oil City News)
- A Casper man was injured on Wednesday, Jul. 5 after attempting to make homemade fireworks. First responders received multiple calls about an explosion and house fire in the Paradise Valley Neighborhood.
