Riverton native gets prison for slamming man's head on rock last spring (oilcity.news) — A man who recently made his home in Casper has been sentenced to seven to nine years in prison for a brutal April assault near the Nicolaysen Art Museum, captured on security video. Casper police followed a blood trail to the downtown crime scene, and the victim suffered serious facial injuries, highlighting ongoing local concerns about alcohol-fueled violence.
