1. The Central Wyoming and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo Parade is today Jul. 11! The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. The route will be closed to automobile traffic at 8:00 a.m. Check out the route map, since it has changed from the traditional route. (Oil City News)
2. Camping World Holdings of Lincolnshire, Illinois is set to acquire Sonny's RVs in Casper. Camping World says this location along with its Cheyenne location will start it toward the top RV spot in Wyoming. Camping World Holdings is the world's largest seller of RVs and accessories. Interested individuals can check here for job application material. (RV Business)
3. The first-ever Wyoming Firearms and & Outdoor Recreation Expo will come to the town of Casper on Jul. 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by Wyoming's Office of Outdoor Recreation, and a variety of local partners including among others, David Street Station. The expo will open in conjunction with the popular Magpul Wyoming Governor's Match. Admission is free. The event will include live music, a variety of food vendors, and exhibitors. • The F Street bridge will be closed until July 2024. This closure is expected to impact drivers, bicyclists, as well as first responders. (The City of Casper, WY via Facebook)
• Wyoming Horse Racing LLC will be moving to a new location at Mesa Liquor on Talon Drive. The business plans to install from 80 to 85 off-track betting machines in approximately three months. They are excited to begin operations at the new location and have agreed with Fuzzy's Taco Shop to provide food in their facility. (Oil City News)
