Cheyenne Frontier Days Reveals Huge 2026 Concert Lineup (kool1079.com) — Cheyenne residents can start planning now for the 2026 Cheyenne Frontier Days, with a full Frontier Nights concert lineup and rodeo schedule set for July 17–26 in town. Big-name country acts, Xtreme Bulls, and rodeo tickets all go on sale this month, giving locals first crack at seats for one of the city’s biggest annual draws.
   

2. Cheyenne police seeking information about jewelry store burglary (capcity.news) — Cheyenne police are asking for the public’s help after a burglary at Burri Jewelers on Dell Range Boulevard, where a suspect smashed a window, damaged cases, and stole jewelry. Investigators released a clothing description and say tips to Silent Witness Laramie County can stay anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
   

3. Central High's Keen is LCSD1 Student of the Week for Dec. 15 (capcity.news) — A Central High School senior in Cheyenne has been named Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for Dec. 15, highlighting local academic and community achievement. She juggles advanced classes, clubs, spirit team duties, Cheyenne Frontier Days parade support, 5K fundraisers, and work with the Cheyenne Latchkey Program while preparing for a future in nursing.
   

4. Decorating for Christmas remains a family tradition for the Walters, and the city can see it on the Holiday Light Tour (wyomingnews.com) — Cheyenne families can still hop on the Holiday Trolley Light Tour through Dec. 27, with rides leaving the Depot nightly at 6 and 8 p.m. The Walters’ heavily decorated Cribbon Avenue home is one of 27 featured stops, and Visit Cheyenne also hosts a free, Whoville-themed Conservatory of Lights at the Botanic Gardens on select December evenings.
   

5. Joint Appropriations and WDE discuss support for charter schools (douglas-budget.com) — State lawmakers meeting in Cheyenne are weighing how to fund and oversee Wyoming’s growing charter school system, including one already operating in the city. Budget talks center on creating a separate budget unit for the charter board and how much to pay its new executive director as more communities prepare applications this spring.
