Officials: Cheyenne airport maxed out, forcing 97% of local flyers to Denver (capcity.news) — Cheyenne Regional Airport is packed, yet 97% of local air travelers still drive to Denver because airlines won’t add more flights here. Airport leaders walked City Council through a 20‑year master plan tackling limited commercial service, needed facility upgrades, and FAA compliance, with a public open house on the preferred plan expected in late February.

DeCarlo steps down from "Lead Singers of Classic Rock" Thanks for the Memories concert, show is still happening (wyomingnews.com) — A free classic rock concert at the Cheyenne Civic Center is still on for Jan. 23, even though former Boston singer Tommy DeCarlo has stepped down to focus on cancer treatment. Jason Scheff of Chicago will headline, and organizers are urging Cheyenne residents to fill the venue in a show of support while sharing details on how fans can contribute to DeCarlo’s medical GoFundMe.
   

3. Council committee considers two replatting resolutions to clear way for housing development (wyomingnews.com) — Cheyenne’s Public Services Committee has advanced two replatting resolutions that would open the door for new housing, including the First & Union affordable community and Golden Meadows duplexes. Both proposals now head to the full City Council on Dec. 22, potentially shaping future neighborhood growth, pedestrian access, and available family housing options on the city’s north side.

Laramie County average gas price falls 7 cents as national hits another multi-year low (capcity.news) — Gas prices around Cheyenne are sliding, with Laramie County’s average down 7 cents to $2.41 and several Cheyenne stations posting lows near $2.25 per gallon. The drop outpaces both Wyoming’s statewide decline and the national trend, as increased refinery output and softer crude prices push fuel costs to multi‑year lows heading into Christmas.
   

5. Wolves wrestling sees success to start season (wyomingnews.com) — Green River’s girls wrestling team opened the season strong, taking third at the Charlie Lake Invite where host Cheyenne East claimed first and Gering, Nebraska finished second.
