• Green River, Rock Springs kick off boys swim season in Gillette (wyomingnews.com) — Green River sports fans can celebrate a strong start to the boys swim season, as the Wolves took third out of 12 teams at the Gillette Relays and sixth in the Pentathlon. Competing alongside Rock Springs, at least 25 Sweetwater County swimmers hit the water and posted several top-five finishes against strong statewide competition. 
• Local Lookout: Uranium mining advances near Riverton (wyofile.com) — Green River families can take pride in Sweetwater County School District 2, which just earned exemplary ratings in a statewide peer review for mental health support, student activities, and community partnerships.
