1 Dead After Saturday Shooting In West Birmingham
A shooting Saturday night on Alameda Avenue in west Birmingham left a 22-year-old man dead.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A shooting in west Birmingham Saturday left a 22-year-old man dead. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. at a home on Alameda Avenue.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said officers found Montrell Fredrickgus Holloway dead inside the home at 1635 Alameda Ave., and determined after an interview with witnesses that the shooting was likely the result of a domestic dispute.
Mauldin said one person is in custody, but formal charges have not been filed. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Birmingham PD at 205-254-1764.
