Here are the top three stories in Birmingham today:
- ALDOT and Birmingham officials will be working together to fix hundreds of broken lights on the interstate. The effort comes as part of preparations for The World Games 2022. - Have you seen this girl? A 16-year-old from Jefferson County is missing. Aryana Fields was last seen in Center Point on Apr. 23. According to investigators, she may be in Gwinnett County, Georgia or in the Birmingham Area. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. See a photo and full description at the link. - A gunshot victim wrecked his car in the front yard of a Birmingham home Monday. The death is the third in a period of less than 24 hours between Sunday and Monday. According to police, officers were called to the scene of the wreck at about 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The wreck occurred in the 8300 block of Fourth Avenue South. (AL.com)
