Here are the top three stories in Birmingham today:

  1. A Mother-daughter duo recently graduated together from the Birmingham School of Law. Daphne Davis, 52, and her daughter Edriuna, 26, were among nearly 85 graduates who were awarded their Juris Doctorate degrees on May 15. The two are believed to be the first mother-daughter duo to graduate at the same time from the Birmingham School of Law. (AL.com)
  2. Birmingham’s The Summit has introduced a new online platform that allows for same-day delivery or pickup. The new online shopping platform, One Bag, allows Birmingham residents to buy items from different stores through one seamless transaction. Same-day delivery is available Monday through Saturday when orders are placed by 3:00 p.m. Those placed after 3:00 p.m. or on Sundays are processed the following business day. (AL.com)
  3. A man was killed on Monday in a car crash along Hwy 280 in Shelby County. 41-year-old Stephen D. Dixon was killed when the Hyundai Santa Fe he was driving was struck by a truck near the 13-mile marker along U.S. 280 on Memorial Day. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene; troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating. (WIAT - CBS42.com)
