St. Patrick's Day 2021 In Birmingham: Where To Go, What To Do

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The traditional parades, festivals, races and large parties that often mark the St. Patrick’s Day season and celebrate Irish heritage this month will again mostly not take place this year as the coronavirus pandemic approaches the one-year mark.

In Birmingham, one of the city's most popular St. Patrick's Day traditions, the 5 Points South St. Patrick's Day Celebration — which includes a parade, live music and parties at the local restaurants and bars in 5 Points South — will not happen this year. However, some options for celebrating are still scheduled in the area:

Sham-Rock; Cahaba Brewing Co., March 13, noon-10 p.m.: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with beer, bands, and, cocktails.

St.Patty's Stomp; 5 Points South, March 13: Join Black Market Bar & Grill, Dave's Pub, Little Italys, The Hive, and more for live music, drinks and St. Patty's entertainment.

Saint Practice Day; Tin Roof, March 13, 11 a.m.: Get ready for St. Patrick's day with a full day of food, drinks, and live Entertainment.

St. Patty Party; Clay Public Library, March 13, 9 a.m.: The day includes a story time for pre-schoolers, kids’ crafts and fun activities.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration; Beef O'Brady's, Helena, March 13, 8 p.m.: Celebrate at this classic Irish-themed restaurant with drink specials and St. Patrick's Day menu items.
