Woman Charged With Murder, Arson After Birmingham Apartment Fire
A woman has been arrested in the deadly shooting of a 39-year-old Birmingham man found dead after an apartment fire in east Birmingham.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A woman has been charged with murder and arson after an apartment fire in east Birmingham Thursday. Iesa Collins, 36, was taken into custody Monday and charged with the murder of Terrance Jerome Hardy.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department said Hardy was found dead after Birmingham firefighters extinguished an apartment fire at 142 Woodstation Place. An investigation revealed Hardy had been shot prior to the fire.
Collins faces charges of murder ($100,000 bond), arson ($ 60,000 bond) and abuse of a corpse ($ 15,000 bond). She is currently in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
