2 Arrested For Stealing Car In Hoover: Cops
Police said the car was stolen from a Hoover apartment complex on Tuesday.
HOOVER, AL — Two Birmingham men are facing charges after police say they stole a man's car early Tuesday morning from a Hoover apartment complex.
According to police, around 12:42 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to The Park at Hoover apartments for a robbery that occurred outside a building. A man told police that two men who said they were armed got out of a white car, approached the man and demanded his car, police said.
One of the men took the car while the second followed in the white car, according to police.

The stolen car was found parked at a Circle K gas pump. One of the suspect was arrested as he was getting into the stolen car, police said.
The second suspect fled in the white car and didn't stop for cops. Police pursued the car and caught the second suspect after a short chase on foot, authorities said.

Police said Tyler Lamar Stringer, 20, of Birmingham was charged with first-degree robbery. He was given a bond of $20,0000.
Kieron Tarez Childress, 20, of Birmingham was charged with first-degree robbery and attempting to elude. He was given a $60,300 bond.
