2 Dead After Crash On Montgomery Highway In Hoover
Hoover police are investigating a fatal wreck that occurred on Montgomery Highway, just north of Parkway Lake Drive.
HOOVER, AL — Two people are dead after a crash on Montgomery Highway Wednesday. The wreck occurred around 12:30 p.m., just north of Parkway Lake Drive.
Captain Keith Czeskleba of the Hoover PD said a truck pulling an enclosed trailer was traveling northbound on Montgomery Highway when it lost control, striking a guardrail. The vehicle also struck a tree before landing on its side, trapping the driver. A passenger was ejected from the vehicle.
"Both occupants were pronounced deceased on the scene by Hoover Fire-medics," Czeskleba said. "Traffic investigators are reconstructing the crash to determine its cause."

The identities of the victims will be withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
