  1. One of Hoover's Alabama Dance Academy students will be performing in the 2022 Orlando Thanksgiving Tour at the Walt Disney World Resort. Brooke Silas, 14 years old, earned the coveted opportunity after trying out for All-American at the Universal Dance Association Camp in June. Only 12 percent of the dancers from Varsity Spirt camps earn the chance to participate in a performance of this caliber. (Shelby County Reporter)
