Here are the top three stories today in Hoover:

1. Hoover's Garrett Warren has won the two-day MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League tournament. The event was held in Florence, Alabama. He won $5,831 for catching ten bass weighing 35 pounds. Click for the complete list of top ten boaters. (BassCast)
2. The Alabama Sports Writers Association has unveiled this week's high school football rankings. Hoover High School's team was ranked fourth with 154 total poll points. The team is currently 5-1. The top-ranked team is Auburn High School with a 6-0 record. (Montgomery Advertiser)
3. The Hoover Police Department has arrested three men on breaking and entering charges. The individuals reportedly broke into and stole an SUV on Sunday night. 20-year-old Mario Thomas, 20-year-old Da'Mario Thomas, and 19-year-old Tavares Nelson have been transferred to the Jefferson County Jail. Hoover residents are reminded to lock vehicle doors. (WBRC)
