Bessemer Man Arrested In Identity Theft Case
Hoover police arrested a Bessemer man in an identity theft incident which involved fraudulent purchases at a local Walmart.

HOOVER, AL — A Bessemer man has been arrested following an investigation by Hoover police into an identity theft case. Phillip Leslie Jebeles, 29, was arrested Monday after tips from the public identified him in the case.
Jebeles is accused of charging approximately $100 worth of merchandise on a victim's stolen debit card at a Hoover Walmart July 9.
Jebeles will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail and held on $15,000 bond.
