  1. UPDATE: The man responsible for the shooting at the Birmingham Chuck E. Cheese on Highway 280 on Sunday has been identified. Police have identified the suspect as Jacques Delawrence Hunter, Jr., 23, who is responsible for allegedly shooting a man, with whom he knew, at the family gathering at the location. 2. A Hoover native has won over $4,300 during the Major League Fishing Phoenix Bass Fishing League tournament over the weekend. Garrett Warren took home the prize after reaching the five-bass limit weighing in a total of 13 pounds, six ounces. Warren said, "I had probably 60 bites and only landed about 20. I lost a 4-pounder and another 4- to 5-pounder that I saw. So I knew the conditions were fire for good fishing, if you knew what you were doing." (WSFA)
  3. A Birmingham man is dead following a car crash in nearby Leeds. The Friday crash occurred at mile marker 140 on I-20 West around 10:47 a.m. The man has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office as Roshid Dowone Hinkle, 26, who was driving a tractor trailer and struck another tractor trailer that was parked on the shoulder at the time of the crash.
