Felony Shoplifting Suspect Sought By Hoover Police

Hoover police are trying to identify a man they say stole more than $1,000 of merchandise from a local Walmart.

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department needs the public's help in identifying a felony shoplifting suspect. Police say a man seen on security footage at a local Walmart stole more than $1,200 in merchandise on July 11.

A statement from Hoover police said employees at the store reported the person in the photos took an iPhone 12, passed the last point of sale without attempting to pay, then exited the store.
