Final Future Hoover Meeting Tonight

Hoover residents meet with city officials in tonight's final meeting in the series for Future Hoover initiative.

HOOVER, AL— The fourth and final meeting for Hoover residents to hear about and discuss their vision for the city is being held tonight at 6:30pm in the cafeteria of Greystone Elementary School. The Future Hoover initiative is meant to provide an ongoing conversation for members of the community to bring forward ideas and concerns brought about by growth. While Hoover celebrates its 50th anniversary, city officials want to hear continued feedback from residents and will conduct online surveys in the coming weeks.

Topics such as a satellite library, public transportation and the formation of an official city center have been discussed in previous meetings. The city is also highlighting the need for continued improvement of the school system and is open to creative solutions.
