- A resident from Shelby County has been indicted for a 2020 DUI that killed two young siblings in Hoover. 48-year-old Christopher Anagnos was indicted on two reckless murder charges for causing a four-car crash that killed 8-year-old Serris Prude and 11-year-old Emryhe Prude. Anagnos was caught in Mexico in 2021 after fleeing authorities. He is now being held in a Jefferson County jail. (AL.com)
