Here are the top three stories in Hoover today:

  1. The Hoover High School Student Government Association is inviting the general public to attend the upcoming 2022 homecoming parade. The parade will start in the parking lot of Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6:00 p.m. It will proceed along Champions Way and finish at the on-campus football stadium.   2. The City of Hoover is offering free parking spots at the city's RV park for Hurricane Ian evacuees. The parking spots offer hookups for power, water, and sewer. There are currently 170 city RV parking spots available. This service has been offered by the City of Hoover for the past 2o years. (WBRC.com)
  3. Former President Donald Trump's big red campaign bus stopped at Hoover Tactical Firearms on Monday afternoon. The bus was met by Alabama Republic Party officials. Former national coalitions director of the Trump 2020 campaign, Ashley Hayek, spoke to party officials. The former president was not on the bus. (AL.com)
