She is involved in Make-A-Wish . She has done so much for this organization and the kids. The Alabama chapter raised top money for the kids under Laura’s guidance. She has spent many, many hours hiking to raise money for the kids' wishes. She has trained many people to hike for make a wish, too. She gives from her heart .

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

She always puts others' needs before hers.
