  1. Hoover released its elementary and secondary Teachers of the Year, and they are known for creativity and hands-on learning. Maghan Craig is a first-grade teacher at Bluff Park Elementary School, and Kevin Pughsley is a sixth grade Earth science teacher at Berry Middle School. Both were recognized as Hoover’s Teachers of the Year for the 2022-23 school year. (Hoover Sun)

  3. Albertville High School's head football coach stepped down yesterday and will become the quarterback coach at Hoover High School.
