Man Dies In Wreck Near Galleria

HOOVER, AL — A single-car wreck off I-459 Saturday resulted in a fatality, according to the Hoover Police Department.

Police said a silver sedan was traveling north on I-459 when it attempted to exit the interstate onto Montgomery Highway. While traveling on the exit ramp, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a fence.

"The driver, an adult white male, was located deceased inside the vehicle," Hoover police said in a statement. "Hoover Police traffic officers are investigating the crash to determine its cause."

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
