  1. We have an update on the story regarding a missing Hoover woman: Carlethia "Carlee" Nichole Russell, a 25-year-old woman from Alabama who went missing after reporting a toddler walking on the interstate, has returned home. Russell had called 911 and stopped her vehicle to check on the child before losing contact with her family. Russell's vehicle and belongings were found at the scene, but she and the child were missing. After two days of search efforts and a $25,000 reward, Russell returned home on foot and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing to determine where she had been during her disappearance. (CNN International)
  2. The City of Helena filed a complaint against the City of Hoover on Friday (Jul. 14), seeking a restraining order regarding the annexation of the Indian Ford Fire District. Helena claims that after meetings with the District's Board of Directors, they decided to provide the necessary services and voted to annex the entire District. However, Helena alleges that Hoover has been enticing property owners with incentives and discussing annexation, prompting Helena to request a Temporary Restraining Order to prevent Hoover from interfering until a preliminary injunction is issued. 3. Hoover's Eagle Pharmacy has been acquired by a national pharmacy network, as part of Osceola Capital's Revelation Pharma platform expansion. The locally-based pharmacy is a 503B outsourcing compounding pharmacy that serves various healthcare facilities, medical offices, patients, and prescribers across 29 states and territories. The acquisition of Eagle Pharmacy, along with Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy, will provide Revelation with increased medication availability, diversification, and growth opportunities, further enhancing its comprehensive pharmaceutical platform.
