- On Wednesday, a new outdoor fitness court opened at Veterans Park in Hoover. The 40-by-40 court, one of nine in Alabama, includes workout stations designed for squats, pushups, pullups, and more. Together, the City of Hoover, Shelby County, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama opened the court. (Hoover (AL) Police Department via Facebook)
- Registration for the Hoover YMCA's Spring Break Schools Out camp, which is taking place next month, is now open. The camp will run from Mar. 27-31 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is flexible to meet parents' and guardians' needs.
