- Thousands of people turned up on the streets for the 2022 Trussville Christmas Parade over the weekend down the road in Trussville. Although the weather was cloudy, it did not rain during the parade. Visit the link to view photos from the event. (Hoover Sun)
- Three people were injured during a shooting in nearby Bessemer on Monday morning. Officers reported that they do not believe the injuries were life-threatening and that there is no active threat to the public. (CBS42)
- Janet Jackson's tour "Together Again" will be making a stop down the road in Birmingham in 2023. The tour includes special guest Ludacris and will take place on Saturday, Apr. 22. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 16. (WBRC)
