Big Blue Marble Academy Hosts New Location Open House & Book Signing

Madison area families attended the event, where they were able to tour the campus, meet with educators, and learn about the school

On Saturday, April 20, Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA) hosted an Open House event at its newest location at 106 Plaza Blvd. in Madison, Ala. This special event allowed families to explore BBMA’s enriching early childhood programs and participate in a day filled with fun, educational activities, as well as an exclusive book signing with Joel and Amber Palmer, the creators of Baby Barista: A Coffee Primer for the Youngest Fans. This beloved book introduces the basics of craft coffee in a playful, understandable way for children, fostering early learning and a love for coffee culture.

The Open House highlighted the importance of early childhood education and BBMA's commitment to providing a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, learning, and growth. The event also featured a variety of family friendly activities, including face painting, a food truck, snow cones and cotton candy, as well as educational activities and the opportunity to meet school educators and learn about the BBMA curriculum.

"We are excited to open our doors and share what makes Big Blue Marble Academy so special. It's a fantastic opportunity for parents to learn about our play-based curriculum and global education focus," said Robin Brock, District Manager for BBMA. "Hosting the local authors of Baby Barista book signing added a unique touch to our event, emphasizing the joy of learning and community."
