• Several charged with drug related charges in the last two months in DeKalb County (coosavalleynews.com) — Recent DeKalb County drug investigations included multiple arrests of people from Mentone, highlighting how local residents are being swept up in countywide enforcement. Over October and November, 38 individuals across nearby towns were charged after traffic stops, search warrants, and other incidents uncovered meth, marijuana, pills, and paraphernalia. Authorities credit cooperation among local police, deputies, and the Major Crimes Unit.
