Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

  1. A 16-year-old has been charged with making terroristic threats toward B.C. Rain High School. On Monday, Nov. 28, officers were called to the high school just after noon after a social media threat was made toward the school. Officers report they found the student who made the threats at a CVS store on Dauphin Island Parkway during the investigation; the student was transported to Strickland Youth Center. (WKRG News 5)
  2. A man was arrested for attempted murder and domestic violence on Thanksgiving, according to Mobile Police Department officials. On Nov. 24 at around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute call at the 6000 block of Idlemoore Court, near Theodore Dawes Road. Upon arrival, they found that 40-year-old Steven Mann had allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and cut her across the neck. Mann was arrested and charged with attempted murder and domestic violence. (WKRG News 5)
  3. The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a special holiday edition of "Roll Mobile." On Dec. 3, beginning at 6:00 p.m., the free holiday event will see Bienville Square converted into a winter wonderland-themed roller-skating rink.
