- Charges were dropped for one of two suspects accused of shooting at Mobile Police officers in September. Valeido Davidson was accused of two counts of attempted murder and discharging a gun into an occupied building and vehicle; previously, police had said Davidson and another man, Tymetrick James, shot at police cars on Sep. 21. However, the charges were dropped for Davidson by a district judge Tuesday afternoon after the court found “no probable cause,” according to documents from the Mobile County District Court. - A Wednesday morning tornado in Washington County caused a tree to fall on a home in Mobile County. The tornado touched down at around 2:45 a.m. and caused a tree to crash into a home near Murphy High School. - An independent living facility in downtown Mobile is undergoing an $11 million renovation. According to officials at Cathedral Place, upgrades are long overdue, and residents who have been living there for decades are saying the same. The property was taken over by ALCO Management, in 2019. "We're thankful. It's a long time coming but we finally got it!" resident Lucille Glover said. (NBC 15 WPMI)
