- Country music artist Levon Gray will be returning to his hometown to perform at Moon Pie Over Mobile. The Mobile native will be performing at the New Year's Eve Moon Pie Drop tomorrow. (Fox10 News)
- Mobile County has released its 2023 Mardi Gras parade schedule. The itinerary kicks off Saturday, Jan 21 with the Krewe de la Dauphine on nearby Dauphine Island and will wrap up with a final event on Tuesday, Feb 21. (Fox10 News)
- A Mobile police officer is on administrative leave as the department investigates a traffic stop incident where the officer fired his weapon. Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine discussed the incident where an officer attempted to arrest a man with active warrants during a traffic stop when a struggle between the man and the officer took place. - Need to recycle your live Christmas tree after the holiday season? Now through Jan. 15, the City of Mobile will accept Christmas trees every day at James Seals Park and Langan Municipal Park from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Just remember to remove any lights, stands, and decorations! (Fox 10 News)
- With New Year celebrations around the corner, the Mobile Police Department would like to remind Mobile residents that it's never a good idea to celebrate with gunfire. When bullets are discharged from a gun, they can land anywhere and cause property damage or injury and even death. Contact the Mobile Police Department if you see someone firing a gun into the air.
