City leaders say the multi-million-dollar project will cut flooding and make it safer for kids and families who walk this busy corridor every day.

Friends say the victim loved Mardi Gras and never missed downtown Mobile parades. Advocates are using the case to highlight how warning signs of family violence can stay hidden.
   

5. Has The Mobile Bay Sediment Problem Been Solved? (gulfshoresnews.com) — Engineers working in and around Mobile Bay are turning dredged sediment from the Port of Mobile’s shipping channel into 3D-printed artificial reefs. The Mobile District of the U.S. Army Corps and the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program hope these experimental structures will support oysters and other marine life while offering a smarter way to reuse dredge material.
